CPR Certification Class: Coming June 18th!

This is something you will not want to miss.  For those that are interested, CEO, Chris Trevino, has agreed to put on a CPR Certification class.  The cost of this class will only be $15.00 and, upon completion, you will receive a 2-Year Certification in First Aid, CPR & AED from the Red Cross.

June 18th  Potluck – Celebration of Fathers Day

The theme for this months Potluck is Celebration of Fathers Day. Come on down to Anderson Hall at 5:30 PM and bring a dish to share. Don’t forget, potlucks dinners are always open to residents and their guests.

Poolside S’mores…  

Join us Wednesday, July 10th at 7:00 PM for a management hosted free event, where you can enjoy a summer time treat after a dip in the pool!

New York City Trip…  This is exciting, and we still have several spaces available!  With the help of Park Resident and in-house Travel Agent, Linda Popp, we are organizing a 6-day, 5-night trip to New York from October 24-29th, 2019.  All of the details will be explained in the presentation mentioned above.  Additionally, a travel brochure has been posted in Hubbard Hall if you’d like a few details prior to the presentation.  Some of the planned highlights include a harbor cruise to see Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty, a visit to the 9/11 memorial, two Broadway shows located near your hotel, The Sheraton of Times Square. Sign up in the Hubbard Hall clubhouse!

Coming in the Fall… The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens in Palm Desert (with a stop at Sherman’s Deli on the return trip!). Detail to come.

Candlelight Pavilion – The Bells of Christmas… Saturday, December 22nd. 

We have reserved seating to enjoy a wonderful holiday show and dinner. The very talented Candlelight Pavilion Staff write all of their own wonderful holiday programs and this will be one you do not want to miss. Cost of $86.00 includes your entire meal, the Holiday Musical and transportation to and from Valencia Lea. You are welcome to reserve a spot by calling our manager Jodi during office hours. There will also be a sign-up sheet at Hubbard Hall on June 1st.
